Virat Kohli reclaimed the Orange Cap

                             IPL 2024 Orange Cap: Virat Kohli rises to the top of the leaderboard after scoring 181 runs. In the IPL 2024, RCB's Virat Kohli reclaimed the Orange Cap. Kohli now has 181 runs in his account. On March 29, Kohli scored an unbeaten 83 runs against KKR at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, he smashed his  52nd half-century in 36 deliveries.  With that, he surpassed Heinrich Klaasen, the hard-hitting wicketkeeper from Hyderabad, for the lead in runs scored in the 2024 Indian Premier League.  Heinrich Klaasen of SRH finished second, scoring 143 runs overall. Riyan Parag of RR finishes in third position with 127 runs. Sanju Samson of RR is presently in fourth place, scoring 97 runs. Kohli also surpassed the legendary AB De Villiers to become Bengaluru's all-time leading sixes scorer (239).

Kolkata win against Banglore by 7 wickets with 19 balls remaining

                   In the 17th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), Kolkata Knight Riders have won against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets with 3.1 overs remaining. Last night at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Kolkata won by 7 wickets to make it two wins in a row in the current edition of the IPL.The target of 183 runs given by Bengaluru was completed by Bengaluru with the loss of three wickets with 19 balls remaining.   Bengaluru, who lost the toss and were invited to bat, scored 182 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. For Bengaluru, opener Virat Kohli remained not out after scoring 83 runs. He played 59 balls and hit 4 fours and 4 sixes. In the match held at the home ground, RCB defeated Punjab Kings by 6 wickets. Chasing Punjab's target of 177 run, RCB completes in the final over with four balls remaining with loss of 6 wickets. Punjab had set a target of 177 runs, which Royal Challengers Bangluru achieved with 4 balls remaining, losing 6 wickets in the process.
