South Africa won against England by 7 runs

                             


South Africa won six games continuously after beating England by 7 runs in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between England and South Africa at Beausejour Stadium.

England cannot chase the target of 164 runs given by South Africa in 20 overs. They can only manage to score just 156 runs by losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. After early dismissal of openers and bad performances of middle orders, England can't make win this game. For England, Opener Phil Salt and Captain Jos Buttler goes after scoring 11 runs in 8 balls and 17 runs in 20 balls respectively. While, Johnny Bairstow and Moeen Ali scored 16 runs in 20 balls and 9 runs in 10 balls respectively. Harry Brook scored the highest run for England as he scored 53 runs in just 37 balls including 7 boundaries. Liam Livingstone also played well as he scored 33 runs in 17 balls including 3 boundaries and 2 sixes. Only two batsman can perform well from England which results them to lose this game.

South African bowlers did very good from bowling side so they can restrict England at just 156 runs and secure a victory. For South Africa bowling, Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj take equal two wickets for each by conceding 32 runs and 25 runs respectively. While, Ottneil Baartman and Anrich Nortje both take equal one wickets for each.

In the first innings, Opener played really well in this game as they make 85 runs partnership for first wicket. Opener Quinton de Kock scored the highest run for South Africa as he scored 65 runs in just 35 balls including 4 boundaries and 4 sixes. While, David Miller also played brilliantly as he's already in form in this tournament. He scored 43 runs in just 28 deliveries including 4 boundaries and 2 sixes. Similarly, Captain Aiden Markram scored just 1 runs by playing 2 balls and Tristan Stubbs scored just 12 runs in 11 deliveries. Lower order cannot perform but opener and middle order played well that South Africa gives fightable total to the defending champion team, England.

England bowling can't perform in the first power play where they're become wicket less. However, in the middle and lower order, they can pick some wickets and they also maintain giving runs. For England bowling, Jofra Archer takes the highest wicket for England as he take three crucial wickets by conceding 40 runs in 4 overs. While, both spinners Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid take equal one wickets for each.

Quinton de Kock became Player of the Match(POM) due to his outstanding batting performance as he scored amazing half-century with 65 runs in 38 deliveries including 4 fours and 4 sixes at the strike rate of 171. He won the POTM awards two times in a row in this tournament.
