Australia starts their Super 8 game with victory after defeating Bangladesh by 28 runs(DLS method) in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between Australia and Bangladesh at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
Australia played fast in the second innings which they are 28 runs forward than Bangladesh so that's why they win this game by 28 runs. Australian openers capitalize their plans and played according to the plans. Opener make the partnership of 65 runs for first wicket that helped Australia to win this game. For this, Opener David Warner half-century as he scored 53 runs in 35 balls including 5 boundaries and 3 sixes. Similarly, another opener Travis Head also support Warner by scoring 31 runs in 21 balls which include 3 boundaries and 2 sixes. While, Glenn Maxwell scored not out 14 runs in 6 deliveries including 1 boundary and 1 six. Warner and Maxwell remains not out in the game and then rain starts. After waiting many time, the rain didn't stop and the umpire declared that Australia win this game by 28 runs through DLS method because Australia were 28 runs forward than Bangladesh.
From Bangladesh bowling side, only one bowler can take wicket. Rishad Hossain take two wickets by conceding 23 runs in 3 overs. While, others are fail to pick wicket for Bangladesh in result they lost this game by 28 runs.

For Australian bowling, Pat Cummins take three wickets as hat-trick ball in three consecutive balls. He take three wickets overall by conceding 29 runs in 4 overs. Adam Zampa take crucial two wickets by conceding only 24 runs in 4 overs. While, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell all pick one wicket for each.
Pat Cummins won the Player of the Match(POM) due to his outstanding performance with ball. He become first player to take hat-trick in this world cup. He take three wickets by conceding only 29 runs in 4 overs.
