New Zealand beat Uganda by 9 wickets

                     


Uganda were all out at just 40 runs against New Zealand and New Zealand complete this in just 5.2 overs by losing 1 wicket in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between New Zealand and Uganda at Brian Lara Cricket Academy Stadium.

New Zealand the lowest total of 42 runs given by Uganda in just 5.2 overs by losing just 1 wicket. For New Zealand fast chase, New Zealand batters played a destructive batting from the beginning. Opener Finn Allen scored 9 runs in 17 balls including one four. While, Devon Conway scored highest 22 runs in just 15 balls including 4 boundaries. Then, Rachin Ravindra came played a winning shot of 1 run.

Uganda bowlers couldn't take more wickets even the target is very low. Riazat Ali Shah  become only player to take wicket from Uganda as he take one wicket by conceding 10 runs in 1 over.

In the first innings, Uganda can't do special against New Zealand. Batters are just like throwing their wickets to New Zealand. Four batsman goes for a duck including Opener Simon Ssesazi, Robinson Obuya, Alpesh Ramjani, and Juma Miyagi goes for a duck. While, another opener scored just 2 runs by playing 20 balls. Kenneth Waiswa scored the highest run for Uganda as he scored 11 runs by playing 18 balls including 2 boundaries. While, other batsman couldn't scored runs in double digits.

 New Zealand bowlers perform very well against Uganda as they show their real class which they can make Uganda all out at just 40 runs. They're making trouble to Uganda batsman from the beginning of the over. Tim Southee take highest wickets for New Zealand as he take three wickets by conceding only 4 runs in 4 overs. Trent Boult, Mitchell Santner, and Rachin Ravindra all take equal two wickets for each. While, Lockie Forgeuson take one wicket by conceding 9 runs in 4 overs.

Tim Southee became Player of the Match(POM) due to his outstanding bowling performance as he take three crucial wickets by conceding only 4 runs in 4 overs at the economy of just 1.00.

Virat Kohli announced the retirement from t20I

Virat performed the player of the match while winning India the T20 World Cup title for the second time. RCB entered into the playoffs by beating CSK.
