England make easy win over Oman by complete target in just 3.1 overs

 

England beat Oman in just 3.1 overs and still have the chance to enter into the Super 8 in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between England and Oman at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

England complete the small target of 48 runs given by Oman in just 3.1 overs. England batters play destructive from the very first ball as well they also need to maintain net run-rate. Opener Phil Salt and Captain Jos Buttler scored 12 runs in 3 balls including 2 sixes and 24 runs in 8 balls including 4 boundaries and 1 sixes respectively. Thereafter, Will jacks and Johnny Bairstow scored 5 runs in 7 balls and 8 runs in 2 balls respectively. 

Oman bowlers cannot perform well as England batsman have decided to play destructive from the first over. Bilal Khan and Kaleemullah take equal one wicket for each.

In the first innings, Oman managed to score very low total against England which results them to lose this game. Opener Pratik Athavale and Kashyap Prajapati goes after scoring 5 runs and 9 runs respectively. Then, Aqib Ilyas scored 8 runs in 10 balls including one boundary. Shoaib Khan scored 11 runs in 23 balls including one boundary. While, no any other batsman can make double digit runs.

England bowlers show their power-pack performance with Oman batsman as they restrict Oman in just 47 runs. Adil Rashid take highest wicket for England as he take four wicket by conceding just 11 runs in 4 overs at the economy of 2.75. While, Jofra Archer and Mark Wood take equal three wickets for each.

Adil Rashid became Player of the Match(POM) due to his outstanding bowling performance as he take four wickets by conceding only 11 runs at the economy of 2.75.

RCB entered into the playoffs by beating CSK.
