Delhi won against Lucknow that help RCB to qualify

                             

Lucknow Super Giants lost to Delhi Capitals in their last match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) league stage on Monday. Delhi won by 19 runs in the match at Delhi's home ground.

Chasing the huge target of 209 runs given by Delhi, Lucknow managed to score only 189 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. For Lucknow, Nicholas Pooran scored 61 runs off 27 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes. Similarly, lower order batsman Arshad Khan scored 58 runs off 33 balls by hitting 3 fours and 5 sixes. Krunal Pandya added 18 runs, Yudhvir Singh added 14 runs and Quinton de Kock added 12 runs

Ishant Sharma took 3 wickets for Delhi. Khalil Ahmed, Akshar Patel, Mukesh Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav Tristan Stubbs took 1 wicket each.

Before that, Delhi, who lost the toss and batted, scored 208 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. For Delhi, Abhishek Porel scored 58 runs off 33 balls while Stubbs added 57 runs off 25 balls. Sai Hope scored 38 runs while Rishabh Pant scored 33 runs.

Lucknow's Naveen Ul Haq took 2 wickets and Arshad Khan and Ravi Vishnoi took 1 wicket each.

Ishant Sharme became Player of  Match due to his exceptional bowling performance. He took 3 crucial wickets by giving 34 runs in his 4 over spell.

With this victory, all the matches of the league stage of Delhi have ended. Delhi has collected 14 points in 14 matches. Lucknow has 12 points with one game remaining.

Although Delhi's chances of reaching the playoffs are not officially over, the chances are slim. Lucknow will also have to rely on other results to reach the playoffs, winning by a big margin in the last match.
