Rajasthan win with the help of Yashsasvi Jaiswal's Century

                              

With Yashasvi Jaiswal's brilliant century, Rajasthan Royals lost by 9 wickets against Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday.

Rajasthan, which started with a target of 180 runs, won by adding 183 runs for 1 wicket in 18.4 overs. Yashasvi and Jos Buttler shared a 74-run partnership for the first wicket for Rajasthan, who started strongly.


Yashasvi and Sanju Samson led the team to victory after Buttler scored 35 runs. Yashasvi, who played 60 balls, remained 104 not out with 9 fours and 7 sixes. Sanju played 28 balls and scored 38 not out with 2 sixes and 2 fours.

Piyush Chawla took the only wicket for Mumbai.

Before that, Mumbai won the toss and scored 179 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs along with Tilak Verma's fifty. Sandeep Sharma of Rajasthan took 5 wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs. Trent Boult took 2 wickets, Avesh Khan and Yuzvendra Chahal took 1 wicket each.

Sandeep Sharma became Player of the Match due to his exceptional bowling performance of 5 wicket-haul by giving only 18 runs in his 4 over spell.

With 7 wins and 1 loss in 8 matches, Rajasthan is at the top with 14 points. With equal 10 points, Kolkata Knight Riders is second and Sunrisers Hyderabad is third. Seventh place Mumbai has 6 points.
