Delhi won in the final over

                    

Delhi Capitals registered a victory over Mumbai Indians in the match under the Indian Premier League (IPL) with heavy rain of runs. Delhi won by 10 runs in the home match.

Chasing the huge target of 258 runs given by Delhi, Mumbai could only score 247 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.


For Mumbai, Tilak Verma scored 63 runs in 32 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes. Similarly, captain Hardik Pandya scored 46 runs off 24 balls. Tim David scored 37 runs and Suryakumar Yadav scored 26 runs. Ishan Kishan scored 20 runs.

For Delhi, Mukesh Kumar and Rashikh Salam took 3 wickets each while Khalil Ahmed took 2 wickets.

Delhi, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 257 runs for the loss of 4 wickets with the help of Australian player Jake Fraser-McGurk's explosive innings. Fraser-McGurk scored 84 runs off 27 balls with 11 fours and 7 sixes. 
Similarly, Tristan Stubbs scored 48 runs off 25 balls and Sai Hope scored 41 runs off 17 balls. Abhishek Porel added 36 runs and Rishabh Pant added 29 runs.


Luke Wood, Jasprit Bumrah, Piyus Chawla and Mohammad Navi took 1 wicket each for Mumbai.

Jake Fraser-McGurk became the Player of the Match in this game due to his destructive batting as he scored of 84 runs in just 24 deliveries.

After the win, Delhi is in the fifth position with 10 points from 10 matches, while Mumbai is at the ninth position with 6 points from 9 matches.
