Rajasthan's second win in a row

By registering victory over Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals registered their second consecutive victory in the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rajasthan registered a 12-run victory while tasting their second consecutive defeat against Delhi.

Chasing a target of 186 runs, Delhi managed to score only 185 runs after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Needing 17 runs in the last over, Delhi lost after Avesh Khan gave only 4 runs.


David Warner scored the highest 49 runs in 34 balls for Delhi. Similarly, Tristan Stubbs could not avoid defeat after playing an unbeaten innings of 44 runs off 23 balls. Rishabh Pant scored 28 runs while Mitchell Marsh added 23 runs.

For Rajasthan, Nandre Berger and Yuzvendra Chahal took 2 wickets each and Avesh Khan took 1 wicket.


Before that, Rajasthan, who lost the toss and were invited to bat, scored 185 runs with the help of Rian Parag's explosive innings, losing 5 wickets. Parag scored 84 runs in 45 balls including 7 fours and 6 sixes. Apart from him, other batters could not perform significantly. Ravichandran Ashwin scored 29 runs and Dhruv Jurel scored 20 runs.

Delhi's Khalil Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar, Enrique Nortje, Aksar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav took 1 wicket each.

Riyan Parag became the Player of the Match(POM) in this game due to his destructive innings of 84 runs off 45 balls including 7 boundaries and 6 sixes.
