Punjab Kings win over Delhi Capitals by 4 wickets

                      


 The match played between Delhi and Punjab in the second game of IPL 2024 at Saturday afternoon in Mulanpur Cricket Ground, Punjab.

 Punjab Captain Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and decided to bowl first. While the skipper of Delhi Capitals return in the cricket field after his tragedic car accident.

Delhi Capitals add 174 runs in the board with the loss of 9 wickets in the 20 overs. Delhi skipper Risabh Pant, who return after the danger car accident add 18 runs and Abhisek Porel score notout 32 runs. While, Mitchell Marsh, Shai Hope and Axar Patel score 20 runs, 33 runs and 21 runs respectively.

After finishing the first inning, Punjab Kings win by 4 wickets with 4 balls remaining. 

From Punjab Side, the Punjab skipper Shikhar Dhawan score 22 runs in 16 balls with the help of hitting 4 fours. And, the impact player Prabhsimran Singh and Liam Livingstone score 26 and 38 runs respectively. 

                                 

Where the Punjab Kings batsman Sam Curran played his brilliant inning. He score 63 runs out of 47 balls that help Punjab Kings win against Delhi Capitals with 4 balls remaining. From bowling side, the Punjab bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel takes two-two wickets respectively. While, Kagiso Rabada, Harpreet Brar, and Rahul Chahar takes all takes only one wicket.

 From Delhi bowling side, Khalil Ahmad and Kuldeep Yadav both takes 2 wickets and Ishant Sharma takes only one wicket. The Delhi bowlers give their best but couldnot make Delhi wins over Punjab.

After winning Punjab Kings add 2 points in the points table that may help them in the play-off.
