Kolkata win against Hyderabad

                       

Kolkata Knight Riders win against the Sunrisers Hyderbad by 4 runs. The match is played between Kolkata and Hyderbad at the home ground of  Kolkata, Eden Garden. It is the second match of saturday where the first match is played between delhi and  punjab.

SRH won the toss and decided to bat first. While batting, the Hyderbad team score 204 runs in the 20 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. The Hyderbad team played well as it is the first 200+ runs by any team in the IPL of season 2024.

From Hyderabad team, both Mayank Agrawal and Abhishek Sharma score 22 runs in  the board. Mayank hit 4 fours and 1 six while Abhisekh hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in their respective innings.

  

    The Hyderabad batsman Heinrich Klaasen played his brilliant inning. He score 63 runs out of just 29 balls with the help of 8 outstanding sixes.  He score his fifty in just 16 balls.This is one of the brilliant knock of his career and also this is one of the fastest half century of IPL 2024 season.

From Kolkata bowling side, Harshit Rana and Andre Russel takes  3 wickets and four wickets respectively. 

Harshit Rana incurred 60 percent of his match fees due to breaking the IPL Code of Conduct. Harshit give flying kiss going infront of him to the Hyderabad batsman Mayank Agrawal after taking his wicket. It is against the IPL code of conduct that he has to pay his 60% match fees. This celebration and fees by IPL management team draw criticisms in the overall social medias. It goes viral and everyone giving their own perspective on this matter.

The Kolkata batsman Phil Salt score 54 runs in 40 balls with scoring of 3 fours and 3 sixes with the strike rate of 256.00. Where as, Andre Russell plays a destructive inning that helps Kolkata win over Hyderabad. He score 64 runs in only 25 balls with the help of 3 fours and 7 sixes. He hits 7 sixes in his brilliant knock and score his one of the fastest fifty in his T20 career. 

From Hyderabad bowling side, T. Natarajan and Mayank Markande takes 3 wickets and 2 wickets respectively. The bowlers did really well but their skills couldn't perform well against the RUSELL: THE MUSCLE.

Kolkata Player Andre Russell won the Player Of Match in this game with his destrucitve batting hitting of 64 runs in only just 25 balls and he also takes 2 wickets in his bowling spell.
