Hyderabad win against Mumbai after breaking record of RCB.

Sunrisers Hyderabad registered a victory against Mumbai Indians in a match with a record total of runs. Hyderabad won by 31 runs over Mumbai Indians.

In the home match, Hyderabad made the biggest total in Indian Premier League (IPL) history. After losing the toss and being invited to bat, Hyderabad made a total of 277 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

With this total, the record of 263 runs made by Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors India in 2013 has been broken.

For Hyderabad, Henrik Klaasen scored 80 runs off 34 balls with 4 fours and 7 sixes. Similarly, Abhishek Sharma scored 63 runs in 23 balls with 3 fours and 7 sixes, while Travis Head scored 62 runs in 24 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes. Aidan Markram contributed 42 runs off 28 balls. Abhisek Sharma scored 50 in just 16 deliveries.

All the bowlers proved expensive in Mumbai. 17-year-old South African bowler Kwena Maphaka give 66 runs in 4 overs. While, captain Hardik Pandya scored 46 runs and Gerald Kotji took 1-1 wicket with 57 runs. Another wicket was taken by Piyush Chawla. He spent 34 runs in 2 overs. Jasprit Bumrah spent 36 runs in 4 overs. Captain Hardik Pandya manage a poor captaincy. He didn't set the fielders at perfect place as per batsman weakness and bowler strength. He also did a poor bowling in this game.

In reply, Mumbai Mail could score 246 runs by losing 5 wickets. Tilak Verma scored the highest 64 runs in Mumbai. He hit 2 fours and 6 sixes in 34 balls. Similarly, Tim David scored 42, Ishan Kisan scored 34, Naman Dhir scored 30 and Rohit Sharma scored 26. Mumbai Indiand batsman did their best to complete this target but the early wicket and the loss of Rohit Sharma and Tilak Verma suffer Mumbai to the loss. Mr Surya Kumar Yadav was missed by many Mumbai fans in this game. Hope he will be back in game soon.

For Hyderabad, Jaydev Unadkat and Pat Cummins took 2 wickets each. Shahbaz Ahmed took 1 wicket.

Abhisekh Sharma became Player of the Match in this game while he scored 63 runs in just 23 ballls which include 3 fours and 7 sixes in his innings.
