Chennai defeated Bengaluru in the opening match of IPL 2024

                     



Chennai Super Kings won the opening match of the Indian Premier League(IPL). The opening match is played between CSK VS RCB in 22 March 2024. Chennai Super Kings defeated Royal Challengers Banguluru by6 wickets in the opening match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

With the loss of 4 wickets in 18.4 overs, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai team reached the 174 runs that Virat Kohli's Bangalore team had set.
                   
Anuj Rawat hit 48 runs with just only 25 balls while Dinesh Karthik and FAF Duplesis score 38 runs and 35 runs respectively.
            

Shivam Dubey scored 34 runs in that span, and Ravindra Jadeja scored 25 runs to stay undefeated.
Jadeja, who played with 17 balls, hit one six, while Dubey smashed four fours and one six off 28 balls.
Prior to that, Rachin Ravindra had an aggressive game and hammered three fours and three sixes to score 37 runs off of 15 balls.Ajinkya Rahane score 27 runs in 19 runs.


Virat Kohli completes his 10,000 runs in T20 cricket. But, he couldnot perform well in this game.

From bowling side, the Chennai Player Mustafizur Rahman picks up 4 wicket by giving only 29 runs in his 4 over spell. Likewise, Deepak Chahar takes only one wicket with conceeding 37 runs in 4 overs.

From Banglore Bowling line, Cameron Green takes two wicket and Karn Sharma & Yash Dayal takes one one wicket respectivley.

After winning this game, Chennai Super Kings collecet two points in their points table and start a their game by easy victory against Royal Challengers Banglore.

Virat Kohli announced the retirement from t20I

Virat performed the player of the match while winning India the T20 World Cup title for the second time. Kohli, who did not make it to the semi-finals, scored 76 runs off 59 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes in the final. India won the T20 title after 17 years and the ICC title after 13 years. In 2007, he won the T20 World Cup and the last time in 2011, he won the One-Day World Cup. This is the first T20 World Cup title for Virat, who was a member of the team that won the ODI World Cup. RCB entered into the playoffs by beating CSK.
